Trevenezie IGT was established in 1995 as delle Venezie IGT. It gained its new name in 2017 when the delle Venezie title was transferred to the new DOC. The zone for the Trevenezie IGT is the same as that for the old IGT and the new delle Venezie DOC. It covers all of Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Veneto, plus the province of Trentino within Trentino-Alto Adige.

In 2015 the delle Venezie IGT covered 4900 hectares (12,105 acres). In 2016 production totalled about 18.4 million cases. It is unclear how much wine will be now made under the IGT, but it is llikely to be much less than the new DOC.

100% Chardonnay IGT Trevenezie Pebbly plain with red clay deposits of moraine origin, Central Friuli region. Soft pressing of grapes. Must fermentation in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts. Bottle ageing. Light aromas of Golden Delicious apple, acacia, and honey. Fresh wine with a clean mouthfeel when young. Hints of tropical fruits emerge while ageing.
