Innocent Bystander Pink Moscato – White Selection

 September 1, 2020

Innocent Bystander pink Moscato comes to us from Australia.  This sweet summer sipper is comprised of 2 grape varietals.  The first, Black Muscat (85%), is harvested at night and given around six hours skin contact to develop hints of pink color.  The Black Muscat is blended with the Muscat Gordo (15%) juice and then fermented slowly, and cold, under pressure in stainless steel vats until full natural carbonation is achieved. The wine has aromas of blackcurrant and mandarin peel. On the palate, flavors of intense strawberry, violets & honeycomb jump out with a well-balanced sweetness to finish. You can pair this wine with fresh summer berries, any brunch dish with lemon or orange, and even blue cheese with pear.
